Since 1994 master courses for pianists and chamber music groups have been taking place in the historic Carthusian convent of St. Bruno in Konz. Experienced musicians and teachers provide professional and individual advising in an international and collegial atmosphere.
We offer public concerts in the region as well as in France and Luxembourg which are performed by the participants. The academies are organized by the City of Konz and "The Prophet Bird - Society to promote artistic piano playing", which is a legally registered association and recognised by the authorities as serving the public interest.
The City of Konz, District of Trier-Saarburg, the German Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate, as well as private institutions support the work of this organisation.
